Element Tab

The Element Tab has controls and settings for special track segments.

Add Element

This menu allows you to add an element from a pre-made library. Elements can be pre-made sections of track or formulas that create elements. Normal elements are added after selected. Formula elements require configuration settings to define the element. Once each setting is entered the formula element will be drawn as designed at the end of the track.

New Formula

This option allows advanced users to create Formula Elements, complex equations are configured to mathematically shape the track.

Force Vector

This option allows advanced users to create track elements based on applying forces over a set period of time. Force vectors shape the track by defining forces for set durations of time that bend the track in various directions. Force Vector Designer

Special Track

This option chooses a special pre-built track element to add to your coaster. These special tracks include switch tracks and transfer tables. To add one of these options to your coaster, choose the special track type, then click in a viewport to place the special track element. The editor automatically switches to Add Special Track mode after a special track is selected from the menu. After placing the special track, the editor changes back to Select/Modify. You can click on Add Special Track to add another of the last special track chosen. Special tracks can be moved around the park by clicking and dragging on the yellow ball in middle of the special track element. After selecting a special track element, special translation handles appear. Clicking and dragging on the arrows will move the special track along that axis only. Click and drag on the rings surrounding the special track to rotate the track along that axis. Double click the yellow ball to find customization settings available for each. You can click on the track segments drawn to adjust style settings for each part of the element.

Save Track Element

You can save sections of track as elements for later use. Select as many sequential vertices as desired to form the track element, then click on Save Track Element. This brings up the Save Element Option screen where you can add a description of the element and add a preview screenshot. Click on the […] button to choose the screenshot to use. Clicking Okay brings up a box to select the location to save the element.

Depump Vertices

This special function works to reduce pumps (oscillating curvature changes) and may make your track appear smoother. To use, select a series of sequential vertices, then click on Depump Vertices. The editor will process and make changes to the position and pull of the vertices. The resulting track should be smoother than before this function was applied. Note that this function may not work on every selection of track and it may move your vertices out of their original position. If the results are not what you intended, simply use the undo function to revert the vertices to their original positions.

Add Special Track
